WHAT IS MUN?
Model United Nations is an academic simulation of the United Nations where students play the role of delegates from different countries and attempt to solve real world issues with the policies and perspectives of their assigned country. The entire event is divided in several committees where each of them will have one pressing agenda to discuss and pass a resolution.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Students from Grade 9 to Grade 12 are eligible to participate in AHMUN
DRESS CODE FOR AHMUN?
All delegates must be dressed in formals/semi formals. AIPPM delegates, may wear Indian traditionals.
WHAT ARE THE TIMINGS OF THE MUN?
The itinerary for each of the 2 days (timings of the sessions and the breaks) will be released a few days prior to the conference.
The schedule will however consist of 8 committee sessions with breaks evenly spread across the two days.
Delegates must attend each session in entirety in order to contribute to the committee and stand a chance to score the most points (on the Executive Board's scoresheet).
HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE MUN?
The Roles of Procedure (ROP) Session will be conducted soon. Refer to the study guides which will be provided soon .Research from trusted sites (Wikipedia and newspapers from a particular country is not allowed).
HOW DO I KNOW IF MY REGISTRATION IS SUCCESSFUL?
• Delegate will receive a mail from our team on their given mail ID once transaction is complete.
• Please do not forget to attach the screenshot of your successful transaction in the registration form.
